Automated Checkpoint Receptionist- Ashland Office
We are accepting applications for ONE seasonal automated checkpoint receptionist position at the Ashland Office.
This is a 16 hour per week NIGHT position. Sunday-12am-8am and Monday-12am-8am.
The work period is from the beginning of May until mid-November. The starting rate of pay is $15.25 per hour.
Job Description- Automated Checkpoint Receptionist
- Manages traffic at automated checkpoints using computer software and images on monitors in main office.
- Assists public by providing information and directions by phone.
- Assists recreational users with self-registration process and payment of fees.
- Assists recreational users with self-registration process and payment of fees for Penobscot River Corridor (PRC).
- Maintains record of automated checkpoint traffic and communicates with checkpoint staff.
- Assists Office Receptionist in organizing and filing Land Use Permits.
- Performs additional duties as assigned. (North Maine Woods has contracts with state agencies, which requires registration, collection and record keeping at certain checkpoints, as an example.)
